Do you ever find it hard to find just the right product for you? Me too! Sometimes I have to really shop around to find something that works for me or that I just love. Recently, I’ve come across some products that are so good that I think they’re worth sharing. If you, too, have developed a love for any of these products, I’d love to hear about it. Or, if you’ve discovered other products that you’re enjoying in your home, tell me about them too!
5 Products that I Love
I was looking for a cleaning product that I could use all throughout the house that wouldn’t smell like disgusting chemicals. I had seen people mentioning making their own cleaner using Thieves essential oil, so I thought I’d give it a try. I purchased Fighting Five oil from Eden’s Garden (this is where I order the majority of my oils – a friend told me about it a few years ago and the oils have been great and much cheaper than other places that I’ve shopped). I am not an affiliate with Eden’s Garden and am in no way associated with them, but I’ve been very pleased with everything I have ordered there. AND, they now offer FREE SHIPPING on all US orders!
I ordered some amber glass spray bottles on Amazon [aff], added several drops of the oil and filled with water, and I have a pleasant-smelling cleaner that also works as a disinfectant. Since I’ve been using this cleaner and diffusing oils, my family really hasn’t been very sick this winter. Which brings me to my next item . . .
Aromatherapy Diffuser Humidifier
I have a great little essential oil diffuser from Young Living that I’ve been using for several years. This year, though, I wanted to add a second one to our home and I was looking for a little bit larger one that would last all day and cover the majority of our daytime living space. I found this one on Amazon [aff] and it has been just what I was looking for. It helps that you can choose a variety of different colors, or set it to rotate colors (which I find quite fun).
I’ve diffused all sorts of things this winter, from my beloved peppermint (use it for everything) to eucalyptus, from orange to lemon and other citrus blends. I’ve also diffused RC, Stress-Away, and other blends.
TRESemme Moisture Rich Shampoo
There are a lot of shampoos out there that I like and have been faithful to over the years, including Garnier and Herbal Essences. But, on a recent trip to Florida, I was looking through the sample size shampoo bottles at Target because I hated what was provided in our hotel, and I grabbed a bottle of TRESemme Moisture Rich Shampoo. When you’re lathering up with it, you can just feel like it’s doing something awesome to your hair! And, for the first time in forever, I was able to use just shampoo, rather than adding conditioner too or using a two-in-one. I’ve since purchased more of this shampoo and am still enjoying it. (For the record, I have thick, course hair that tends toward the dry side. It’s also color-treated. If you have similar hair, I’d encourage you to try it.)
Skinny Coconut Facial Oil
I posted about this one on Instagram recently:
I’ve been using this oil for a few months now. I was looking for something to use to cut down on facial redness, and I’m not 100% sure that this is helping, but it does make my face feel better. I put it on each morning after I wash my face and again in the evening after I remove my make-up, etc. I really like this product and it’s lasting a long time (I just wish I lived in Florida year-round so I could get it out of the tub easier!)
I never, ever thought I’d just on the LulaRoe bandwagon. But, alas, Ashley got sucked into purchasing an outfit at a Christmas craft show. I tried it on one day, and Oh. My. Gosh. They were right when they said the leggings are buttery soft. And I don’t even like butter! I’ve since purchased several outfits for myself (because at first we said we’d share, but there is no sharing the LulaRoe). I’m not going to go into too much detail here because I plan to share more of this story later, in future posts, but suffice it to say that I’m hooked. I’m comfortable in my clothes, and I’m loving LulaRoe.
Now, tell me . . .
