I’m Riding the Rails with the Magical Blogorail today and we’re sharing our favorite Sweet Treats at Disney.
Disney has so many yummy snacks to choose from and we’ve been lucky enough to try a good many of them – thanks to the Disney Dining Plan. So, I thought I’d like my favorite sweet treat in each park, and then a favorite from the resorts as well . . .
On our last trip to Walt Disney World, we decided to try Be Our Guest for lunch. I opted for the Master’s Cupcake, which is a chocolate cupcake with the Grey Stuff as icing. Let me just say that it’s even better as icing than it is on its own!
It’s so hard to choose a favorite sweet treat at Epcot because there are so many fabulous treats around World Showcase. How can a person pick just one? But, for the sake of this post, I have to go with my all-time favorite sweet at Epcot, which is the Caramel Corn from Karamell-Kuche in the Germany Pavilion. This is, by far, THE BEST caramel corn I’ve ever tasted.
A trip to the Studios isn’t complete without a visit to the Writer’s Stop for a Carrot Cake Cookie. Seriously. These things are A MUST!
I don’t know why, but this is the park where we seem to always want Ice Cream! The good news is that it’s readily available throughout the park!
Most of the time, because there are 5 of us, we find ourselves staying at Port Orleans Riverside. I’m not complaining because it’s a beautiful resort. And the Riverside Mill Food Court is great. The bakery has what they call a Warm Apple Blossom, which is like a mini apple pie/tart. I don’t eat much apple pie these days as it’s often too cinnamony for me, but those little tarts are JUST RIGHT! The crust is flaky and delicious and the apples are cooked just right – not too soft and not too crunchy. I usually grab one in the evening to save for breakfast the next day. Yum!
