Welcome to those of you joining me from Focused on the Magic and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 3rd stop on our Magical Blogorail.
This month, we’re pretending to be Disney Imagineers (which works out great since I’m also talking about Imagineers in this week’s Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia.) My daughter Gracie is always telling me “Disney should add a new ride for . . . “ so I’m pulling her in to share her ideas in this post . . .
Gracie thinks that Disney needs to create a ride based on the scene in Monster’s Inc. where they are trying to find Boo’s closet. It would be a ride similar to Peter Pan’s flight, where the ride vehicle hangs down from the track. As you go through the ride, you would see all the various doors floating around. She also thinks there should be various sequences built into the ride (like Star Tours), so that each time you ride you could (potentially) get a different sequence.
Another idea that she has is based on Up. This ride would be similar to Soarin’, but you’d be in a floating house being carried by all the hot air balloons! You could see scenes from the movie, and eventually land at Victoria Falls!
Her last idea would be a ride based on Tangled. The scene where the dam breaks and they are being chased by the King’s men and the thugs – she thinks this would make a fun ride (maybe from the perspective of Pascal). This ride would be a roller-coaster.
I think Gracie has some great ideas. What do you think? Could she have a future career as a Disney Imagineer?
