Before getting started on this week’s Friendship Friday post, I owe an apology to my readers and my single faithful contributor (Mike). Since moving my blog over to self-hosted WordPress, I’ve been remiss at getting things caught up! For the past 2 weeks, I’ve not celebrated my friends! That doesn’t mean I don’t greatly appreciate them though!
What about you? Have you been celebrating your friendships over the past few weeks? Is there one special friend who stands out to you this week? Maybe it’s someone far away that you don’t get to see very often – but a special memory of that person popped into your head this week. Or maybe it’s someone local who did something nice for you this past week. Whoever it is, celebrate! Brag! Tell us about that person with a blog post! We want to know.
Now, without further adieu, I’d like to tell you about my featured friend this week . . .
Several years ago, I decided that my blog needed a new twist. As much as I love homeschooling (and my youngest is only 6), I won’t be doing it forever. And, I love sharing my thoughts and opinions on things; but I don’t want my blog to ever feel like “just another review blog”. In thinking about my passions in life, I realized that I really needed to be blogging more about Disney!
I got involved with the great group of people that make up the Magical Blogorail and that’s where I met

I don’t have a great picture of me and Mike to share because I’ve never had the privilege of meeting him in person. (I hope we will meet up at Walt Disney World one of these days!) But, even without meeting him in person, I consider him a great friend!
Mike is one of the first people to respond when someone has a question or needs help with something blog-related.
While it’s sometimes hard to tell someone’s “tone” in the internet world, I never wonder if Mike is being rude or nasty. I always picture him with a smile on his face because his comments always come across as kind and caring.
Even when Mike is having a bad day, it never shows.
In addition to the Magical Blogorail, I’ve teamed up with Mike in other Disney Blogging Adventures. I’m always happy to see his name pop up in groups I’m in!
Recently, my business partner and I launched our new product review team -Mosaic Reviews. I was so excited when Mike decided to sign up to join us! (So far, he’s the only guy on the team!)
