Do you have any of those hard-to-buy-for people on your Christmas list? Man, I do! My parents are hard to buy for because they go out and buy the things that they need. A few years ago, I got the idea to order my mom a personalized calendar. She loved that gift so much that we’ve been buying her a new one every year – it’s become a tradition!
I love gifts like that. Things that you have to put some time, effort, and thought into – things that are special because they are personalized – things that contain a real “part” of the giver!
When I was offered the opportunity to receive a personalized ornament from Dixie Midwest, I was excited! I love personalized things! And, a few years ago, after my best friend died, we decided that we needed to upgrade our Christmas tree and went out and bought all new ornaments for it. A personalized, family ornament would be most welcome on our new tree!
I had a blast looking through all the ornament options and choosing the one that I liked best for our family. I finally decided on the Lime Chevron Personalized Ornament. I chose to have our last initial placed on the chevron side, and sent a new family picture for on the back. I was so pleased the other day when I received the ornament in the mail:
Is that not the cutest thing? It’s about the size of a credit card, and it’s metal. I was going to use some ribbon or jute rope to hang it from the tree, but the metal appearance lend itself perfectly to a chain style loop. I think it looks adorable on our Christmas tree:
I’m very pleased with this ornament! At the current price of $10.95, these ornaments would make great ideas for everyone on your Christmas list! They are durable and will be so much fun to pull out and hang up year and year! I think it would be such a fun tradition to order a new one each year – and look back over the years to see how the kids have grown, etc. Grandparents would LOVE these!
