30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 21

As a blogger, I may be compensated in some way (either pay, product, or experience) for sharing the post below All opinions are my own. ~Heidi

Today’s Topic = Favorite City

We live in a pretty rural town in central PA.  We don’t get to the “city” much – at least not what I consider to be the city.  Philadelphia (on the eastern side of our state) and Pittsburgh (to the west) are the large cities in PA.  Here in the central part of the state, we have good old Harrisburg.  We get there fairly often.

I must say that I’m glad our state capital isn’t a HUGE city.  It’s easy to find your way around and get to where you need to go.  And the traffic — well, it’s not nearly as bad as it is in other cities we’ve passed through.  So, I guess my favorite  city, for today’s post, will be Harrisburg.

And, it sure looks pretty when you’re coming home from far away and see this:

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 21

As a blogger, I may be compensated in some way (either pay, product, or experience) for sharing the post below All opinions are my own. ~Heidi

Today’s Topic = Picture of Me

I’m really not one for having my picture taken.  Especially ONLY me.  Me and my kids are fine, and I don’t mind having a picture taken with Brian or a friend (even more so now that Sue is gone – I wish I had lots more pictures of the two of us together).  But, just me — not so much.  I am trying to get better about it, because I know someday my kids will appreciate having those pictures.

school photos 2010 062 Anyway, we went for a photo session to get some “school” photos of the kids the other day.  Ashley took this picture of me, so it’s the most recent “picture of me” that I have ===>

Kinda crazy, but it is what it is, right?!
