Did you know? Think you’ll have a more thrilling ride if you leave your seat belt unbuckled on Star Tours? The ride designers made sure that won’t happen. Although it looks like the Cast Member monitoring the Star Speeder is pushing buttons to set the ride in motion when they open the small door on the left side of the Speeder, they are actually checking to see that all the LED lights on the panel are green, meaning everyone has buckled their seat belt. If a light corresponding to an occupied seat isn’t green, no one gets a ride until everyone is secure and the lights are lit. Safety first, you know!
Not sure why, but our family always avoided Star Tours, not ever really being Star Wars fan. That has changed, though, since our son Ian has taken on a fascination with all-things Star Wars. Now, we can’t imagine missing out on this fun ride! What about you?
