Last night, Brian and I had the opportunity to screen the upcoming theatrical release of “Christmas Jars.” I was not familiar with the book, so had no idea of the plot or storyline. We were both quite taken in by it. It made us laugh, it made us cry, it made us FEEL.
About “Christmas Jars”
Based on the beloved novel by Jason F. Wright, CHRISTMAS JARS shares the story of Hope Jensen, a reporter who uncovers the remarkable secret behind a holiday phenomenon: money-filled glass jars anonymously given to people in need. The New York Times bestseller has created a new holiday tradition that has changed the lives of people in their time of need, all over the country. CHRISTMAS JARS is a one-night movie event that provides hope to all as we enter this special season. In theaters Monday, November 4 only, CHRISTMAS JARS is a heartfelt reminder that kindness truly is contagious.
Heidi Says …
‘Tis the season to get excited about Christmas movies, right? If you enjoy the movies on the Hallmark Channel, you’ll enjoy “Christmas Jars.” It’s a family-friendly, feel-good movie, with a hint of romance. But, it’s so much more than that!
This movie touches on what Christmas really is (or should be) – a season of giving. It’s not about giving THINGS, but about giving of ourselves – giving generously, with a heart of love and caring, and with no desire to be noticed or praised. Wow! It’s about miracles (yes, they still happen today) and kindness (it’s always nice to be reminded that kindness does still exist in the world). And, if all of that isn’t enough, there’s a little bit of romance mixed in for good measure!
