I can’t help it — I love spoiling our pets! Pets bring their owners joy, so it’s easy to spoil them. In the case of Ian’s hamster, though, she’s a different story. She’s a Russian Dwarf hamster, and she’s been unfriendly from day 1. We can’t touch her, let alone pick her up and enjoy playing with her. But, we still spoil her with fun things like hamster toys and hamster treats, along with the occasional piece of fresh fruit or veggies.
Most recently, we discovered some new pet bedding and we love for her pen …
Carefresh Small Animal Bedding, Confetti

Heidi Says …
Seriously, what could be prettier than confetti-colored bedding? We’ve always used this type of bedding, but it’s generally been a plain color. So, we were excited to see the fun rainbow colors, which coordinate so perfectly with the bright colors of her pet habitat.
If you were a hamster, wouldn’t you be happy with how pretty and fun that looks? Around here, I’m ready to decorate my house for Spring, and this is a great way to decorate the hamster’s house for the season also. And, she seems pleased:
On an off-topic note, wouldn’t it be weird if you could sit in your food bowl?
Would you like this bedding for your small pet?
You can also purchase this in a medium and large bag as well. So, if you have multiple small pets, or like to stock up, you may consider looking into one of those size options instead.
I’d love to see pictures of your small animal habitat. Feel free to share them with me on Facebook.
