My family is a bit of a “melting pot”. I’ve got 2 brothers (and a nephew) adopted from Korea, and 2 children adopted from Vietnam. For our trip to Walt Disney World last January, I wanted to showcase this family diversity by creating some shirts for us to wear to Epcot (specifically thinking World Showcase). I had an idea in my head but couldn’t find the material I wanted anywhere. Finally, I found it on e-bay (apparently, it was discontinued). While I didn’t see the Vietnam flag on the material, I do see both the US and Korean flags prominently displayed.
We got a lot of compliments on these shirts. Ian has already outgrown his and we’ve passed it along to another Disney-loving family who I know will wear it with pride (while they await their little Korean bundle of joy!) Now, I need to think of a way to top these for our next trip! Any ideas?!
