My favorite food this week: Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon

$43 for the entree (or 2 credits on the Disney Dining Plan)
Isn’t it beautiful?! Almost too beautiful to put into words! The menu at DIS describes it:
8-oz AAA Canadian Beef Tenderloin with Wild Mushroom Risotto, White Truffle-Butter Sauce, and Micro Chervil
One bite and you pretty much think you’ve died and gone to heaven. The steak literally melts in your mouth. In fact, I think a toothless person could eat this meal! The risotto is perfectly flavored and an excellent compliment to the beef.
When the kids and I had opportunity to dine at Le Cellier, I was having major sinus issues – my head felt like it was about to explode, my ears were both closed up, and I could barely taste – and I still knew this was a very special meal. I’m anxious for a do-over one of these days!
