Favorite Land in Magic Kingdom

As a blogger, I may be compensated in some way (either pay, product, or experience) for sharing the post below All opinions are my own. ~Heidi

Welcome to those of you joining me from The Disney Point
and those of you just hopping aboard.
I am the 3rd stop on our Magical Blogorail.

Today I’m riding along with Magical Blogorail Black.
We are sharing about our Favorite Land in the Magic Kingdom.

So, I thought this would be an easy topic.  Then I sat down to write it and I realized that I like something about each and every one of the lands in the Magic Kingdom!  How do I narrow it down to just one favorite?

  • In Adventureland, I love Pirates and the Jungle Cruise (and Dole Whips).
  • In Frontierland, I love Pecos Bill Café and the mountains (Big Thunder & Splash).
  • In Liberty Square, I love the Hall of Presidents and all the references to colonial America (I’m a history buff).
  • In Fantasyland, I love It’s a Small World (yes, I really do!)
  • And in Tomorrowland, I’m a sucker for the Carousel of Progress.

But, if I have to pick my all-time favorite land in the Magic Kingdom, I guess I’ll pick Main Street U.S.A. Here are just a few of the reasons why:

I love walking in under the archway and entering another world.

I love the train station, and especially getting to the park before opening to see the characters open the park.  I love the train – it just IS Disney.

I love the Town Square Exposition Hall.  I always have – even before you could meet Mickey and Minnie (and the princesses) here.

I love the statues at both ends of the street (Roy with Minnie and Walt with Mickey).

I adore all the shops!  I mean, I love to shop anyway, and what could be better than a whole street full of nothing but shops?!

I love the characters on Main Street – both the “regular” characters and the ones that are just found on Main Street.  They are so fun to interact with.

I love the Main Street Bakery.  It’s a rather new discovery, but I can guarantee a visit won’t be complete without one stop there for pastries!

I love the way the street lights go from gas to electric as you  travel down the street.

I think it’s so cool how the windows are all marked with peoples’ names that have meaning to the Walt Disney company.  (I want the book about the windows!)

I love The Crystal Palace.  Even if we had never eaten here, I’d love it just because it’s so pretty to look at.  But, its’ a great place to eat and to visit with Pooh & Friends as well.

And I especially love the view of Cinderella’s Castle from everywhere along Main Street.
