Sean – from Disney Day by Day – hosts aFavorite Food Friday link-up each week. If you like Disney food – or any food, for that matter – you are welcome to participate!
My favorite food this week: JUMBO TURKEY LEG
The Jumbo Turkey Legs are available at several locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort complex:
- Turkey Leg Cart – Frontierland in the Magic Kingdom
- Fife & Drum Tavern – American Adventure in World Showcase – Epcot
- Toluca Legs Turkey Company in Hollywood Studios
- Trilo-Bites in Animal Kingdom
According to AllEars.net, as of 10/13, the price of the Jumbo Turkey leg is $10.25. (They are not on the Disney Dining Plan.)
My daughter Gracie has always been petite. Here she is in 2010, about a month prior to her 10th birthday, and lucky to tip the scales at 50 pounds. But, give her a Jumbo Turkey Leg and she’s a happy girl. I don’t know what it is about Walt Disney World, but this little girl can pack away the food when we’re there!
Sometimes we’ll grab a Turkey Leg and all share it (and there’s plenty for all 5 of us to get a snack). But, most of the time, it’s all about Gracie! (I’m anxious to see if she’ll enjoy the new Pork Shank offering.)
The Jumbo Turkey Leg — love it or hate it?
