Last night, the kids and I had the opportunity to go see Disney on Ice at the Giant Center in Hershey.
The theme of the show was “Let’s Celebrate” and it was jam-packed full of fun! Mickey and Minnie take friends on a journey through all sorts of celebrations – starting with an un-birthday party and ending with Christmas. In between, they focus on Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and summer vacations (which include special celebrations from around the world!).
We had seen the Worlds of Fantasy show in the spring, and I think this show was much more entertaining and fun! There was so much to take in – from all the various Disney characters to the special effects.
We had great seats, but there’s one thing I’ve learned from visiting past Disney on Ice shows — I cannot get decent pictures with a point and shoot camera. (Ashley took her DSLR, only to find that the battery needed charged!) So, I did make a few attempts, but really wasn’t all that successful.
You can see lots more spectacular photos of the Let’s Celebrate show at the Disney on Ice Facebook page. If you’d like a sneak peek at the show, check out this video:
