A few months ago, I shared about a new pair of summer shoes that I had discovered and how I was getting lots of compliments on them. Unfortunately for me, I don’t live where it is perpetually warm, so I had to pack my summer shoes away a few weeks ago to make room for warmer shoes and boots.
Do you have a favorite pair of winter shoes?
Here’s my issue: I don’t like shoes. I’d prefer to be barefoot or as minimalist/comfortable as possible (which is why I’m a flip-flop girl). But, that doesn’t really work in the cold winter months.
I was offered the opportunity to try some winter shoes from Therafit and, again, I was skeptical. I have a wide foot and wasn’t sure if any of their shoes would work. But, a few were suggested to me and, in the end, we settled on the Scarlett in the gray color.
They arrived this past Friday, just as I was walking out the door for a girls weekend with my daughter.

When you're about to walk out the door for a weekend adventure and the cutest shoes arrive from @therafit … just in time. I'm not sure if these are socially acceptable with ankle jeans, but whatever. These may just be my new winter go-to. #cuteshoes #therafit #plantarfasciitis
Heidi Says …
I LOVE THESE SHOES! They are so incredibly comfortable! From the moment I first slipped them on, I thought I would really like them. I have literally worn them EVERY DAY since I got them and they will definitely be my go-to shoes for the winter. Here’s why:
- They are comfortable. Even though they come with the Personal Comfort Adapters, I didn’t need to adjust/remove any of them. They are fine for me as is, but I love that they can be adjusted for each person’s needs.
- They can be worn for long periods or lots of walking.
- They are warm. The built-in sheepskin means I don’t have to wear socks!
