I’ve always found the moon – and our entire solar system – extremely fascinating. I remember visiting Kennedy Space Center for the first time as a teenager and being overwhelmed with awe and wonder.
Years later, I still get giddy with excitement when we take our kids to there. The fact that man was able to get to the moon (and that they have made even more amazing strides in the world of space travel) is just unbelievable to me.
My youngest is 13 now. You’d think I’d be done recommending children’s books; but no such luck! I think I’ll always be a sucker for a good children’s book. This one excited me ….
