Yesterday was Easter, and we had a FABULOUS church service in celebration of Jesus’ resurrection! We started the morning with a Church Potluck Brunch (and, let me tell you . . . our church knows how to do a potluck!) Then, we had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. The service itself included worship with our awesome Praise Band and a Mini-Cantata performed by the kids in our church.
Every good mom needs to brag on her kids once in awhile, right? So, I thought I’d take this after-Easter-Monday as an opportunity to do so here on my blog.
Ashley sang with the Praise Band (and she’ll be doing special music on Mother’s Day, so stay tuned for that video!)
Gracie played violin for one of the songs in the Kids’ Cantata.
And Ian sang his first-ever solo (considering this child has been singing for as long as he’s been talking – and he sings all the time – this is a big deal!).
I’m so pleased that we have been blessed with a local church that encourages our kids to use their talents for the Lord.
What fabulous things have YOUR kids been up to lately?
I’d love to hear about it!
