I recently had the opportunity to screen the Steps of Faith movie. My hubby and I sat down together to watch it and both found ourselves laughing and relating to the characters in the movie.
About Steps of Faith
Steps of Faith is a light-heart dramedy about Faith Houston an accountant, who is directed by God to move to a small town to work on a Hippotherapy farm helping children. Faith is mocked by her family since she doesn’t have a rapport with children or animals and is not a devout Christian. Faith decides to follow her heart and move after she encounters several challenges. She finds herself at the farm in the horse stalls shoveling manure. Faith cracks under pressure and leaves after a child is almost injured questioning whether she heard God’s voice or not.
Heidi Says …
I didn’t have high expectations for this movie. I’m not 100% sure why. But, I was pleasantly surprised. First off, as a fan of The Love Boat back in the 70’s and 80’s, I was thrilled to see Ted Lange again. He plays Faith’s dad in the film, and watching him really made me want to watch The Love Boat again! As the movie progressed, I really could relate to Faith in many ways and really enjoyed following her journey. I really loved watching her growing relationship with Marshall.
