(I’d love to have YOU join me, by sharing THREE THINGS about YOU on your blog! Be sure to link up below!)
If you’re been linking up with Three Things Thursday, then I owe you an apology! I went away to Walt Disney World, came home and got sick, and totally forgot to keep up with this weekly link-up! You have my daughter Ashley to thank for getting me back on track. Last night, I asked her what she was doing, and she said, “Getting my Three Things Thursday post written for tomorrow!” That’s my girl!
So, without further adieu, this week I’ll be sharing 3 things I hate about winter in PA . . .
#1 – I don’t like being cold! And the older I get, the colder I get. Seriously. And once I’m cold, I have a lot of trouble getting warm again. Go ahead and judge me for always talking about how much I want to move to Florida. But, it’s not really a laughing matter. A person can only wear so many layers. (The other day I had 3 pairs of socks on and my feet were still cold!) I honestly don’t know how many more winters I can endure this cold!
#2 – I don’t like snow. Sure, it’s pretty when it is falling and even when it’s landed on the ground. Until people walk through it and the snowplow and a bunch of other cars drive by. Then it’s all trampled and dirty-looking. But, what I really don’t like about it is the fact that it makes the roads so treacherous to drive on. Let’s face it, getting in a car is dangerous enough – we don’t need slippery roads to add to it! Hence the reason I’d love to figure out how to hibernate for the winter.
#3 – I don’t like the fact that the cold and the snow mess with my plans! I’m a planner and I like to know what needs to be done, and when. Often the winter weather messes with those plans and things need to be rescheduled, postponed, cancelled, etc. Yes, I know, I’m just being picky here – but I needed a #3!
Stay tuned . . . next week I’ll turn things around and try to come up with 3 things I like about winter. (I need some balance, after all!)
