My favorite food this week: Tiramisu
Via Napoli in Epcot’s Italy Pavilion
$9 (or included in the DDP, with a main course and beverage)
Heidi Says . . .
Well, I liked the dessert at Via Napoli better than I liked the pizza, that’s for sure. Described as “Mascarpone cream, espresso coffee, lady fingers, and chocolate,” this dessert contains some of my very favorite things. It definitely had a very rich coffee taste. While I could have done with a bit less strength, I know that the Italians are known for enjoying very strong coffee (think: espresso!) so it makes perfect sense. I enjoyed it.
Ashley chose the Zeppole di Caterina (Ricotta Cheese Fritters) and Suzanne decided on the Coppa Brutti Ma Buoni (“Ugly But Good” Amarena cherry & vanilla gelato sundae). Both of their desserts looked quite good also.
