WHEN THE WAR ENDED, HIS BATTLE BEGAN.
Based on Laura Hillenbrand’s bestselling book, UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTIONbegins where the hit movie Unbroken concludes, sharing the next amazing chapter of the unbelievable true story of Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini.
Haunted by nightmares of his torment, Louie sees himself as anything but a hero. Then, he meets Cynthia, a young woman who captures his eye—and his heart.
Louie’s wrathful quest for revenge drives him deeper into despair, putting the couple on the brink of divorce. Until Cynthia experiences Billy Graham’s 1949 Los Angeles Crusade, where she finds faith in God and a renewed commitment to her marriage and her husband. Now, her most fervent prayer is for God to help Louie find the peace and forgiveness he so desperately needs.
In theaters September 14, UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION brings to life the rest of this powerful real-life story of forgiveness, redemption, and amazing grace.
ABOUT LOUIS ZAMPERINI
Louis Zamperini (1917-2014) was an Olympics runner, a World War II bombardier, and a POW survivor. During World War II, his B-24 crashed at sea, leaving him and two other survivors lost at sea aboard a life raft for 47 days. Eventually, Louis was found by the Japanese, imprisoned, and severely tortured for 2-1/2 years as a prisoner.
After the war, he returned to the United States and eventually founded Victory Boys Camp, a charitable organization for at-risk youth. Louis is the hero of the major motion picture Unbroken, as well as Laura Hillenbrand’s bestselling book, Unbroken. His post-war life is captured in the upcoming movie UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION, in theaters September 14.

Heidi Says …
We had never seen the previous movie Unbroken, but my hubby and I sat down one evening to view this movie and were not the least bit lost. It was very easy to pick right up and get drawn into the life of Louis Zamperini.
The story was heartwarming and definitely made me cry at times. Louis certainly led an interesting life and it was easy to see how he got caught up in things that were destructive to him and his family. Thankfully, he was introduced to the speaking of Reverend Billy Graham and his life was forever changed!
I would highly recommend this movie!
